2 Peter 3:1 -- This is my second letter to you, dear friends, and in both of them I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory. (NLT)
Peter, who wrote this letter, was a good Christian friend. Good Christian friends stimulate you to think about God. How can you stimulate your friends to "wholesome thinking"?
Donate

Donations help Bible League place Scriptures around the world. You can help by donating your gently used clothing, furniture, and household items.

When you donate items to Bibles for Missions Thrift Centers, YOU determine the value of those donated items for tax purposes. You may receive the taxable income-deduction benefit from your donation as allowed by law.

Net proceeds from the sale of donated items are used to place Bibles (at $4.00 each) and New Testaments (at $1.50 each) to Bible League ministries around the world.

A win-win situation

When the Holland Bibles for Missions Thrift Centers opened, Doug Van Hill saw a way to help the Centers and at the same time offer a unique service to his customers.

Doug is the owner of Van Hill Furniture in Zeeland, Michigan. Whenever his company delivers new furniture to a customer, his company is willing to pick up the old furniture. Van Hill drivers put the used furniture in their company warehouse.

Twice each week, drivers from the Holland Thrift Center stop by the Van Hill warehouse and assess the used merchandise. If it is sellable, they take it to the Thrift Centers. If it is not, they dispose of it. “It’s a win-win arrangement,” says Doug Van Hill.

It would be impossible to measure the number of Bibles provided by this cooperative arrangement between Van Hill Furniture and the Holland Thrift Centers. We thank God for His provision of this wonderful partnership.

If you own a furniture store or know of one near one of our Centers who would like to do something like this for us, please contact us.
